Short answer

Set your 4-digit kiosk PIN in My Roster under Account › Kiosk PIN, or at the kiosk the first time you tap your name. If you forget it or get locked out, set a new one in My Roster, or ask an Admin to tap Reset PIN on your profile.

Open in Roux Roster

Set your PIN in My Roster

  1. Open Roux Roster on your phone.
  2. Tap Account at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap Kiosk PIN. It shows Not set if you don't have a PIN yet.
  4. Enter 4 digits in PIN, then the same 4 digits in Confirm PIN.
  5. Tap Set kiosk PIN. You see PIN set.

Your PIN must be exactly 4 digits. You can't use 0000.

Set your PIN at the kiosk

If you don't have a PIN yet, the kiosk helps you make one.

  1. Tap your name on the kiosk.
  2. At Choose a 4-digit PIN, enter 4 digits.
  3. At Enter it again to confirm, enter the same 4 digits.

If the two don't match, the kiosk says PINs did not match. Start again.

Change your PIN

  1. In My Roster, tap Account › Kiosk PIN.
  2. Enter your new PIN in New PIN and again in Confirm PIN.
  3. Tap Change PIN.

Forgot your PIN or locked out

After 5 wrong tries, the kiosk says Too many attempts. Ask a manager. The lock doesn't come off by itself. To unlock it, do one of these:

  • Set a new PIN in My Roster. See Change your PIN. You don't need your old PIN, and the new one unlocks the kiosk.
  • Ask an Admin to reset your PIN. After the reset, tap your name on the kiosk and choose a new PIN.

Reset a staff member's PIN (Admin)

  1. In the Dashboard, open People and select the staff member. On a wide screen, People is under the Team menu.
  2. Click Reset PIN. On a small screen, it is under the key icon.
  3. You see PIN cleared, staff will set a new one at the kiosk.
  4. Ask the staff member to tap their name on the kiosk and choose a new PIN, or set one in My Roster.

The Reset PIN button only shows when the person already has a PIN. A reset also clears a Too many attempts lock.
