Forgot to clock in or out?

Short answer

Tell an Admin or Venue Lead. Staff can't change their own timesheet. A manager adds the missing time or ends the open shift, and Roux Roster ends any shift still open after 12 hours.

If you forgot to clock in

  1. Clock in as soon as you notice, if you are still at work.
  2. Tell your manager (an Admin or Venue Lead) what time you really started.
  3. They fix the time on your timesheet before they approve it.

You can't edit your own hours. In My Roster, Timesheets shows your entries and whether each one is Pending or Approved.

If you forgot to clock out

  1. Tell your manager what time you finished.
  2. Your manager can end the shift for you, at the right time, from the On shift page.

If nobody ends it, Roux Roster closes the shift by itself:

  • If you were rostered, the clock out is set to your rostered finish time. This happens 12 hours after that finish time.
  • If you weren't rostered, the shift is closed 12 hours after you clocked in.

Your manager sees these shifts marked Auto-closed · check, so they know to check the times.

What your manager does

  • Shift still open: go to On shift, find the person and click End shift. Leave the time blank to end it now, or type the real finish time in Or a time (optional). See Who's on shift right now.
  • Shift closed with the wrong times: edit it on Timesheets. See Fix a timesheet.
  • No clock at all: the rostered shift shows as No-show on Timesheets. Click Add entry on that row and enter the real times.

Avoid it next time
