Short answer

Your password signs you in to Roux Roster. Your PIN is only for the kiosk. Reset a forgotten password from the sign-in page. A locked PIN is cleared when an Admin resets it or when you set a new PIN in My Roster.

Your PIN and your password are different

  • Your password signs you in to Roux Roster and My Roster, with your email.
  • Your PIN is only for clocking at the kiosk. It doesn't sign you in anywhere.

Forgot your password

  1. On the sign-in page, tap Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email and tap Send reset link.
  3. Open the email called Set your Roux Roster password and tap Set password.
  4. Choose a new password. It must be at least 10 characters.

Your old password keeps working until you save a new one. For more, see Forgot your password?.

The kiosk says Wrong PIN or Too many attempts

  • Wrong PIN. Try again means the PIN didn't match. Enter it again carefully.
  • Too many attempts. Ask a manager. means the PIN is locked after 5 wrong tries. It doesn't unlock by itself.

To unlock it, do one of these:

  • Set a new PIN yourself in My Roster: tap Account › Kiosk PIN, enter the new PIN twice and tap Change PIN. You don't need your old PIN.
  • Ask an Admin to click Reset PIN on your profile in People. Then tap your name on the kiosk and choose a new PIN.

The kiosk asks for a manager

If the kiosk shows Kiosk needs re-setup, its sign-in has expired. An Admin or Venue Lead taps Manager sign-in and signs in again. See If the kiosk asks for a manager.
