Short answer

Open On shift in the Dashboard to see who is clocked in, on a break, late or expected. You can end a shift for someone who forgot to clock out.

Open in Roux Roster

Open the On shift page

  1. In the Dashboard, click On shift.
  2. If you have more than one venue, pick one, or leave it on All venues.

Admins see every venue. Venue Leads see the venues they are assigned to. Staff can't open this page.

What the groups mean

People are grouped in this order:

  • Late: rostered and due, but not clocked in. They count as late from 5 minutes after their start time. The tag shows how late, for example Late 41m.
  • Expected: rostered and due now, but not clocked in yet.
  • On break: clocked in and on a break.
  • On now: clocked in for a rostered shift. The tag says Scheduled.
  • Unscheduled: clocked in with no published shift on the roster.

The chips at the top count each group, for example 1 late or 4 on. All clear means nobody is late or expected. If nobody is on or due, you see No one is on or due right now.

End a shift for someone

Use this when someone left without clocking out.

  1. Find the person and click End shift.
  2. To end it now, leave the time blank. To end it at the real finish time, type it in Or a time (optional).
  3. Click End shift.

The timesheet stays unapproved, so you still check and approve it on Timesheets. No photo is taken.

You can't clock someone in from this page.

Use it on your phone during service

  • The page works on a phone. Each person shows on two lines, with the venue and clock-in time underneath.
  • It refreshes every 30 seconds, and again when you come back to the tab. Updated shows the time of the last refresh.
